Refund Policy

Ask and we’ll refund you

1. Our position

Most game servers say purchases are final and non-refundable. We don’t.

If you want your money back, ask and we’ll refund you. We’d rather return $5 than argue about it, and far rather return it than have you dispute the charge with your bank — that costs us more, takes months, and helps nobody.

This policy exists to explain how to ask, and to describe the small number of situations where we’ll say no.

2. What Nova costs

Nova is $5 per month, charged monthly, cancellable at any time. There is no annual plan, no minimum term, and no cancellation fee.

3. How to request a refund

Email [email protected] from the email address that made the purchase, and include the order number from your confirmation email.

We ask for both because they prove the request is really yours. Without that check, anyone who saw your order number could cancel a subscription you were happily paying for and strip perks you wanted to keep. If you can’t provide either, contact us anyway and we’ll find another way to verify the purchase before touching anyone’s account.

4. What happens when we refund you

  • The payment is returned to the card that made it, usually within 5–10 business days.
  • Nova perks are removed from the Minecraft account they were applied to.
  • That account is not banned, restricted, or penalised in any way. You keep playing exactly as before, and you’re welcome to subscribe again later.

5. Cancelling without a refund

Cancelling stops the next payment. Your perks stay active until the end of the month you’ve already paid for, so cancelling early never costs you time you paid for.

You never have to explain why, and we won’t ask.

6. If we remove a perk

We may add perks at any time, and may remove or change one if it breaks with a Minecraft update, damages server performance, or turns out to be unfair to players who don’t subscribe.

We email every active subscriber whenever perks change, and give at least 30 days’ notice where we can. Sometimes we can’t — if a perk is actively breaking the server or being exploited, we may remove it immediately and explain afterwards.

If we remove something you subscribed for, you can request a refund.

7. When we won’t refund

Rare, and all of them involve someone using the policy against us:

  • Payment fraud. A stolen card, or a purchase made with someone else’s payment method without permission.
  • A previous chargeback. If you’ve already reversed a payment to us, we won’t refund a later one.
  • Repeated cycling. Subscribing and refunding over and over to use Nova without paying for it.

We won’t refuse a refund because you were banned, changed your mind, bought it by accident, or didn’t like it. Those are all fine reasons.

8. Repeated refunds

If the same person repeatedly subscribes and requests refunds, we may temporarily suspend the account, or permanently bar it from purchasing Nova while leaving normal play untouched. We’ll email you before doing either.

9. Chargebacks

If you dispute a charge with your bank instead of asking us, the Minecraft account the purchase was applied to will be banned, and Nova access is revoked.

We’ll respond to the dispute with our records — the confirmation email, the delivery log, and the timestamp of the purchase. We’d much rather not. Email us first; the answer is almost always yes.

10. Nova and bans

Temporary ban: your subscription keeps running and your perks are waiting when you get back. We don’t cancel it for you and we don’t refund time lost to a ban you earned. If you’d rather not pay for a month you can’t play, cancel it yourself and resubscribe later.

Permanent ban: your subscription is cancelled automatically and we refund the unused part of the month. You won’t be able to subscribe again. We’d rather return the money than keep it for a service we’re no longer providing — the ban is the consequence, not the fee.

The exception is section 7: no refund where the ban was for payment fraud or follows a chargeback.

11. Gifts

If you buy Nova for someone else, the perks go to their account and the refund right stays with you, the buyer. Refunding a gift removes the perks from the recipient. The recipient is never banned or penalised — they didn’t agree to anything.

12. Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under consumer protection law where you live. Where those rights give you more than this policy does, they apply.
